Employee Health Assessments

Flex Rehab Services provides three assessment tools available to you to offer to your employees:

Employee Health Screening
Employee Health Risk Appraisal
Employee Needs and Interests Survey

Each employee assessment differs in the type of information it provides but each identifies potential health concerns and helps shape your Fitness Program. Employee health assessments can also:

Help employees become aware of current or potential health problems
Motivate employees to participate in Fitness Programs and/or refer themselves to their physician for early treatment.
Build interest and visibility in your Fitness Program.
Provide a baseline for follow-up evaluations.
Help select programs that will be most beneficial to your company and employees.

Corporate Fitness Program

By implementing a Flex Rehab Corporate Fitness Program, you are investing in the prevention of employee illness and injury — as opposed to paying much more for the treatment. This is just one benefit you can expect from offering a Flex Rehab Corporate Fitness Program. Many employers choose to implement a Fitness Program for the following benefits as well:

Now that your employees have been assessed and made aware of their current health status and any health risks they may have, it is time to take the next step. Flex Rehab Services Fitness Solutions will provide the knowledge, skills and support your employees need to reduce their risk factors and incorporate healthier behaviors.

The educational programs vary in length from 1 to 8 sessions. Each session lasts approximately 1-hour and is conducted on-site at a date and time you choose.

Employee Needs and Interest Survey

Employee participation is key to a successful Fitness Program. The employee needs and interest survey will provide you with the information you need to better design a program that is specific to your employees.

This survey will identify the programs employees are most interested to participate in. For example, if it has been identified that 30% of your employees are smokers but the employee needs and interest survey indicates employees are not interested in a smoking cessation program, it probably would not be beneficial to show them how to quit. The survey will also identify employee demographics, current health habits and more.

Management will receive an executive summary of the survey results. Highlights of the executive summary will be available for posting for employee review.

Employee Health Risk Appraisal

A health risk appraisal (HRA) is an assessment tool that analyzes an employee’s family history and lifestyle habits. Topics included in the HRA include heart disease risk, cancer risk, stress assessment, depression assessment, safety issues and more.

Each employee who completes the HRA will receive a personalized health report. This report will describe any risk factors they may have as well as recommendations on how to reduce or eliminate them. Management will receive an executive summary of the results.

The information obtained from the HRA is an excellent complement to the employee health screening. The two screenings combined give employees a “total picture” of their current health.

The employee health screening is a great assessment tool to test the current health status of employees. Each employee has the opportunity to participate in the tests and receive immediate results.

You may customize your employee health screening to include any combination of the following components:

Cholesterol
Blood Pressure
Body Fat Analysis
Muscle Strength and Endurance
Cardiovascular Endurance
Flexibility
Back Analysis
Others as requested
