Employee participation is key to a successful Fitness Program. The
employee needs and interest survey will provide you with the information
you need to better design a program that is specific to your employees.
This survey will identify the programs employees are most interested to
participate in. For example, if it has been identified that 30% of your
employees are smokers but the employee needs and interest survey indicates
employees are not interested in a smoking cessation program, it probably
would not be beneficial to show them how to quit. The survey will also
identify employee demographics, current health habits and more.
Management will receive an executive summary of the survey results.
Highlights of the executive summary will be available for posting for
employee review.
A health risk appraisal (HRA) is an assessment tool that analyzes an
employee’s family history and lifestyle habits. Topics included in the HRA
include heart disease risk, cancer risk, stress assessment, depression
assessment, safety issues and more.
Each employee who completes the HRA will receive a personalized health
report. This report will describe any risk factors they may have as well
as recommendations on how to reduce or eliminate them. Management will
receive an executive summary of the results.
The information obtained from the HRA is an excellent complement to the
employee health screening. The two screenings combined give employees a
“total picture” of their current health.
The employee health screening is a great assessment tool to test the
current health status of employees. Each employee has the opportunity to
participate in the tests and receive immediate results.
You may customize your employee health screening to include any
combination of the following components:
