We offer Physical therapy services and fitness programs to your
facility at no direct cost to the facility.
Flex Rehab Services will staff and equip a state-of-the-art
outpatient rehab office within your property. The out patient center
becomes a convent benefit to the residents. In addition to meeting the
needs of those residents that need skilled outpatient services its
presence assists the property in terms of marketing prospective.
A fitness program is set up to provide a safe, supervised, and fun
environment for the residents to enjoy the benefits of group aerobic
exercise, strength training and aquatic exercise. Once the needs of the
patient population of a specific community have been determined, we will
develop regular scheduled hours for these supervised exercise classes. The
fitness group classes are provided as a benefit to the residents at no
charge. Those residents requesting one on one exercise training that do
not meet Medicare guidelines for skilled rehab services can pay privately
for the services.
Each patient in the fitness program will be screened prior to starting
the program to determine their functional mobility level and cognitive
level to insure they are placed in the appropriate classes. It is
recommended all residents participating obtain their doctors approval to
do so. The goal is to promote, maintain and retard regression of the
functional abilities and improve overall quality of life.
Participants are then re-assessed on an ongoing basis to reinforce the
benefits of the program.
The presence of our programs significantly impacts the functionally of
the residents. This ultimately enhances the bottom line by enhancing the
quality of life for your residents and allowing them to live independent
longer. One of our many programs that will be made available to your
residents is our urinary incontinence treatment program. This program
utilizes the latest technology to treat urinary incontinence, one of the
leading problems resulting in nursing home placement. The treatments are
painless and best of all totally non-invasive.
